As a congregation, we do a very good job ensuring we adequately fund all of our ministry and mission activities.  While we generally end our years close to matching giving with expenses, we have been incurring moderate negative balances the past few years.  We are now in a position of having to borrow from ourselves to make payments for the general fund.  We are about $9,000 below where we need to be. We ask that everyone prayerfully consider giving an extra $8 per family, per week for the remainder of 2020.  This is extra to what is normally given so generously.  This modest increase over the next 40 weeks brings us back to level and we are no longer borrowing from ourselves to make planned expense payments.  If we figure 30 families per week this is $240/wk and $9600 at the end of the year.
