The replacement of Salem's roof this past summer was a major expenditure that needed to be done. Now that the project is completed, our roof should be good for many years to come. As you may recall, insurance covered a significant portion, however we had roughly $48,000 left to pay. The contractor kindly offered to allow Salem one year interest free to pay off (or pay off as much as possible) the remaining balance. In January a check for $5000 was sent to the contractor by Salem, bringing the balance down to about $43,000.

The progress dial above is what we will display to show where we are at with the remaining debt until we have it paid off! THANK YOU to those whose contributions toward paying off the roof debt have allowed us to get a good start with this effort.
