September Close the Gap Update

In August Salem members learned the size of the gap between 2020 ministry income and expenses—some $14,000. A challenge to “Close the Gap” was presented, met, and exceeded.  Altogether more than $6000 was given to the first effort. What good news that is to share!  Thanks be to God and to generous members.

There is good news to share about how we might continue to “Close the Gap.”

Recently our congregation has been given a second challenge—this time to raise an additional $2000 which will be matched dollar for dollar.  By successfully raising just $2000 in this second effort, the $14,000 gap will be closed by $10,000 in just two over two months!  

How do I participate?

Make a one-time gift in any amount either electronically through Tithe.ly or by check. Please remember to identify your gift with “Close the Gap” so it is counted toward the challenge match. Thank you for your participation.   Could Salem announce another “Close the Gap” success yet this fall?
